Shame though ... I know how you felt. This Afrihost thing did take a very long time. At least we now know they have started deliveries for the sim only deals. You in Cape Town so give it a day or two.

Same here still no email, in client zone it states my package was handed to courier on the 9th already & MDS tracking states awaiting client acceptance!:confused:

How did you get the tracking number without the email? From the Afrihost reps?
 
@Ockie dude the driver rocked up at my place at around 17:05, he still had 2 more deliveries to-do in the area.

Oh well. A guy has got to do what a guy has got to do hey. I will wait for him. But if he does not show at all today and I waited for him I will be angry .... and you wont like me when I am angry. :mad:

At which point does the courier issue you a tracking number?

The status of my sim card delivery is "Handed to Courier", but have not gotten a tracking number :confused:
 
There were guys that said they could track the driver on a map of some kind with a ETA to your delivery. I dont see that anywhere?

They yanked that function - rightly so - it was not accurate with this type of delivery.
 
LoL - They were supposed to call me too. Driver just rocked up at my place & our doggie almost took a large bite out of him!
Good guy, he kept the package high up in one hand & the other hand making some disturbing waving gestures.
He made sure I got package the unharmed :)

That's dedication. Hope the parcel (and driver) were fine in the end though. Otherwise other people may not get their parcels ;)

You should have a tracking number once it's scanned in by the courier. Drop me a PM, I'll check what the number is :)
 
Any idea how long the backlog would take to clear up? Ordered on the 5th and since the 9th its been stuck on "Handed to courier" haven't heard anything since.
