3) Buy a new LTE capable modem from Afrihost
4) Done!

Guess 2Mbps is where its at here at my house.
 
East london, east coast resorts on the farm three tests in my lounge using my experia z with mtn SIM with afrihost apn

Just over the gonubie river on a farm, got great signal here, will be nice to see what happens once LTE becomes available in east london. But speeds like that will be just fine for me:D

wow, East London has changed since I was there. There used to be 1 nightclub in the whole town (do they still call them nightclubs?). I think it was called Numbers. A very strange place ;)
 
Zero at home, but I was expecting that. Vodacom couldn't even provide a voice signal, never mind data, and MTN barely manages to. MTN has actually been getting worse, so I'm not anticipating improvements anytime soon.
