As noted in my PM reply to you, have logged in now, and see July '20 data reinstated.

Can you advise if it's resolved for other months in the year, going forward, that also have 31 days in them - should be 7 of them - so that the cut-off isn't strictly 30 days for all months ? ... (and we don't have to go through this again) ... not to mention resolving of February which has 28, and sometimes 29 days (leap years) ?

This issue is certainly not something that happens regularly at all so we deal with it on a case by case basis. Dev is quite complicated and things can go wrong but when it does we will make it right. We certainly don't want clients to feel cheated out of data.

Will bear this in mind for the future, and appreciate the very positive feedback in this regard.
What I might personally do is ensure I use up any rollover data by the 30th day of all months, except Feb. which will be by the 28th or 29th day ... to avoid any worry, all-round.

I don't mind having to do so, as long as I know beforehand what will happen if I don't (use data up by those days).
 
There is some price changes on the Fixed LTE.

There is one price from Router+ Device and Sim only now. If you have taken a device your fee will drop to the sim only fee. New look on the website.

There are some changes to Telkom packages too. Lower caps have increased but there is a slight increase in pricing there.

Does this price adjustment apply to existing customers as well?

For MTN Fixed LTE yes it will.

If you have gotten a device from us on MTN fixed LTE you would be getting a reduction in your monthly fee from the 1st of October
 
Experiencing lousy international connectivity via afrihost lte. There is no assistance being provided by their support staff.

Oh so it isn't just me, I did notice it wasn't on par with other providers (especially following a loadshed) but I didn't think it would've warranted a complaint.

The fact that they are not responding to the support tickets means they are aware of this issue.
 
It will need to be unlocked. Contact AH support, they should oblige quite quickly from experience.
It's meant to be permanently connected to 1 tower only, part of the T+Cs.

I have also been v impressed with performance. ping too for international - 169ms.

Actually my subsequent test after this was 126 Mbps and I haven't even bothered to optimise position of router.. Just pointed it in general direction of tower with least intervening obstructions. It's my second property where my speeds have been 100 Mbps+

I don't hope you guys become like Telkom...

Same issues last night... Today a bit better (about 9mbps on speedtest).. not near the 90-100mbps I have had the past few months. Tested using ethernet and wifi + restarted router, same results.
