Very nice! I had an mtn lte sim before going to Afrihost fibre (still have the wifi/modem). I'd like to get one of these deals for December and January, as I'll be working remotely/away from home. Is this feasible? Month-to-month? Is it calendar months or from day of activation? Does this deal still lock to a single tower?

The simcards are still location and device locked. Sim only deals doesn't have cancellation fees.

I wonder if Axxess will follow suit. Else I might have to ditch them at the holiday house and go Afrihost.

They did so with the recent Telkom LTE pricing changes, about 2 or 3 days after Afrihost's from what I remember.

Their prices / data allocation is better in most of those instances, so keep an eye out ...

I myself am with Afrihost and pretty happy. The Axxess count belongs to my patents. They have their domain on their since the old ADSL days, currently using Rain fixed LTE on Vlottenburg and MTN fixes LTE on Dwarskersbos.

Hi,

I want to know, if I would be able to relocate my fixed LTE if I should move house in 2 months?

Hi,

Yes you can. On the day of the move or when you will take it to the new address please switch it off. Make contact with us via whatsapp, email, call back or here on mybroadband to update the address. Wait for 2 hours and then switch it on at the new address. You should be sorted now.

If it does get blocked we can request the unblock for you.

pitty version 1 is not supported , using one on rain LTE and it flies

I do have a b618 though so not all bad

Yes unfortunately the Pro 1 is not supported yet. I also have one that I use and picks up MTN 5G also but doesn't work on the Fixed LTE packages unfortunately.

Changes for existing clients will happen from the 1st of December.
Unless you upgrade yourself, just did manual upgrade yesterday, from 30+30 to 40+40 for same price, confirmed I'll be on for 1st November.

Interestingly, on the website it states this must be done before 15th of month but that doesn't seem to hold true, as I upgraded on 30th( used the AH android app!

Do I forfeit my rollover? Seem to recall reading one does after an upgrade, although technically this isn't an upgrade per se.

Hi,

Our Dev team will move everyone onto the new packages from the 1st of December.

IF you did submit the manual change you would have been prompted about the loss of roll over data.

BEBC8FAF-9C5B-4A96-8046-FA0EC8E6CFFB.jpegWent from the 150 + 150 package to unlimited while I wait for the link layer ftth rollout to be completed.

So far I’m impressed with the speeds , no gaming so the ping doesn’t concern me. Test from my iPhone.

Will likely downgrade and use as ftth backup as soon as I’m lit
