Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

The transit is down, so we are working on resolving it as soon as possible.

@ronnie_94 We have reached out to Openserve, it looks like the DBN IPC is having significant issues.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Looks like the whole Openserve network in KZN is down which includes Fibre, ADSL, IPC and Transit, which we use for international for DBN clients.

Hi @AfriNatic, @Afrigirl

Just had an openserve technician out, who confirmed my line is 100% with zero packet loss when they connect an Openserve router with their account to my line, I've changed routers to make sure, but the problem clearly is on your end, could you perhaps assist here, going on 3 days with this... thanksCaptureHL.PNG

I have followed up Vuma now.

Thanks one question, I have pure 5g at the office and I saw there is an option to move locations

Can I move the 5g to home since vuma goes down at night ?

And come back to work and swop it on Monday ?

Hi.

I will escalate with the internal NOC team to advise.

Hi,

Is the Eassy cable down? Been on around 240ms ping from PE to AWS Middle East (me-south-1) since around 25 October
Feedback received from Cavedog's escalation.

We have received a response from the team at Amazon. They are having issue with their Backbone link and are working with their provider to fix it. Unfortunately there is no ETR on this.
