@AfriMan how do I reset this router to factory defaults. My wife accidentally switched off the plug and upon switching it back on the router refuses all connections.

I cannot even reach 192.168.0.1 using my laptop and an ethernet cable.

Please help, anybody!
 
@AfriMan Are you guys still using liquid telecom or is this just a temporary rerouting via telkom? The latency is a lot better atm, albeit still not perfect.

I'm just surprised why Telkom Transit is preferring EASSAY or Seacom vs SAT-3..... That is the only problem because latency to London is the lowest from all the providers I've seen but like Genrmany,France and Netherlands still seem to go via the East Coast which is a pity....

How is the latency looking in CPT? Here in PTA side it's 162ms to London and like 173ms to Germany and France 188ms to The Netherlands

So looks like they are at AMS-IX probably why the latency is higher with some direct route to AMS instead of going via LINX....

Telkom has some impressive peering capacities not that it will matter since local peering does not go via Telkom but still.

@AfriMan Ever since you guys switch to Telkom the routing is now 20ms worse overseas.
Do you plan to switch back or better yet improve your original routing?
 
@AfriMan how long do upgrade requests take? Is it meant to be an overnight thing that I should follow up on tomorrow or is there a waiting period?

We're looking at what performs best overall. Generally, performance has been good on Telkom so far, but we'll look at what gives the best experience to our clients.
