Yeah I like it. I think this is probably the best setup you can have. Echo still peer at the INXes, then SAIX has the best connectivity locally and good international, although maybe they can soak the DDoS attacks up better. Liquid has better eastern countries connectivity internationally to Australia Tokyo ect.
I currently max out a 100Mbps line in speedtests to London and on torrents to Europe.
The only thing I want to see tweaked is the latency for Cape Town to Blizzard's network, which currently the return traffic is at LINX but outgoing is from Cogent in Marseille for some reason, upping the latency from 145ms to 170ms.
Hopefully this will get resolved soon then the Echo network will be good to be on.

You call it Telkom, I call it SAIX but it really is now known as the Openserve network.
For me the routing is not good enough hey.
I compare Rain 5G who uses WIOCC. They get the routing spot on. Most of EUW traffic goes via WACS to London. The rest from India east goes over Seacom or EASSAY so giving like 200-230ms to Asia and South East Asia which is nice too.

I agree, Telkom has some tweaks to make, but I think you will find they have an interesting network that have the best redundancy in the country.
WIOCC isn't bad, optimized for speed and some redundancy but not on the same level.
Unfortunately that is the tradeoff you get between a business orientated network and a consumed orientated network.
Yeah Telkom peering capacity is insane and they also have quite a few routers in various exchanges like London 1, Amsterdam ix and Frankfurt ix. Very nice indeed.

Afriman the speed issues are still not resolved. i have a 100 Mb link you guys i cannot get more the 2mb on a speed test.I had been with afrihost for a long time and for the past 6 month everyday between 4 and 5 PM and especially weekends speeds are bad internationally.
As far as I know the network should be running well. The speed issue was only international today, so it sounds like they are unrelated.
Have you run any troubleshooting tests that I could take a look at?
The Openserve issue from yesterday should have only affected KZN.
Can you please run a traceroute so I can have look at your latency and routing?
Should I have received any kind of notification / confirmation from AH? There's no indication it has even been actioned, nevermind an ETA.

Speedtest to international seems kinda bad had full line speed 200/200 to UK on CISP after TCP Acceleration but on Afrihost upload is great download is pathetic cant stream twitch at source without major buffering

Is this for a migration? You should definitely receive a success notification from us.
Please ping bras.afrihost.com so we can see the latency at the local Openserve POP.
Is this an Afrihost issue or SADV issue @AfriMan?
The last speed test was on the weekend, now back to high latency/slow speed...
Not aware of a general issue. Could be latency on the provider's side or our - hard to tell on DHCP.
