Please ping bras.afrihost.com so we can see the latency at the local Openserve POP.
using vuma as an example: no, this is not possible, you can increase it, it will only change at midnight, but then you have to pay prorata increase for the rest of the month, you could then downgrade again, but it will only change at the start of the new month. So this weekend, I had a mate come download a PS game and whilst still a crap ton quicker than his ADSL, it still took a while on my 20mbps line. This got me thinking, if I were to change package, how long does it take to take effect? Would it be possible to go to a higher package for a day and then drop back down to the 20 for the rest of the month?
Why, out of interest?
Are you in CT? I've tried warp and all my traffic hits Joburg first instead of CT.Better routing generally. More capacity on peering links so no chances of congestion and Afrihost peers with Cloudflare at JHB, Durban and CPT. Cloudflare uses Seacom so for people in Durban for example traffic never leaves Durban. Gets handed over at exchange in Durban onto Seacom and then to EU so lower latency.
I do believe ISPs take traffic from Durban to JHB and then it moves from there so this will help.
The international routing is much better. 173ms in League of Legends and 165ms in Paladins.
At R29 you get superior routing and with Argo you get priority access to Cloudflare CDN so when they switch it off because of capacity issues or whatever you will not be affected.
It's bad... They need to work on it fastOpenServe issues affecting Jhb South (was incorrectly "Strange CellC Fibre & OpenServe issues")
(Firstly, you can roast me if this is the wrong group to post and then you can roast me for choosing Cell C Fibre :X3:). 40/20 package (got in June) Over the last few days, for about 4 hours in the morning (this morning included) the ping times are 10 times worse at 43 ms (instead of sub 4...mybroadband.co.za
Have a look there. Seems to be an Openserve backhaul issue that is being addressed.

Ok thanks. Will give warp+ a bash for a month.Normal Warp they probably will do that but Warp+ will give you access to CPT.
They working on it AsapA lot of my people in my area are complaining of speed as well
No difference for me. Everything being routed to JHB first. MehNormal Warp they probably will do that but Warp+ will give you access to CPT.
How do you use warp+ on pc? I only saw the 1.1.1.1 app for phones.Better routing generally.
