Once Fibre ops have confirmed the changes I can confirm. The changes will be made by Frogfoot from the 1st of May so we will likely be ready before that but I will confirm once ops have let everyone know about the changes.

Yes you can still get the free router if you have not gotten one with your initial fibre order.

You can simply order from clientzone.afrihost.com/order click on the Pure Fibre tab then Fibre Routers. During the order process it will shows R1248 which is the total amount including the router however the R999 will be discounted once the order is placed.

You can send me a pm with your clientzone email address so I can have warehouse dispatch it for you.

To think a year ago I still paid R1350 for a legacy Fixed Rain 250gb package, where I never got above 1mbps during the day...

indeed, i've gone el-cheapo and dropped to 25mbps for R597, actually suits me fine for streaming and work.

hats off to Afrihost for setting the bar on passing the savings onto the client unlike others who get upper management to make excuses (*cough* Vox *cough*)
 
Please note that we are aware of the authentication issues. We working on a fix asap.

Please do not restart your router and if you have once the radius issues have been resolved the account will authenticate again.

We have upgraded everyone on Openserve already. We have completed all the legacy 8Mbps upgrades to 25Mbps around the 8th. We have not charged these clients anything for this month but starting from the 1st of April legacy Openserve clients that were on 8Mbps and moved to 25Mbps will have a new monthly fee of R497 per month.

Ping is quite high today to overwatch EU server. Normal ping to london is around 170 ish.

We've (Myself and 2 neighbours, all of AH and MFN) been having intermittent connections multiple times a day.
As it is, currently no internet at the moment.

Is there anything that can be done? Working from home has become more and more frustrating as it seems to be getting worse...
