Yeah, I get that but I feel it's important to note that with the upgrade, speed changed (doubled) while cost remained unchanged. Accounts should be returned to their pre promotional state IE half the speed with the price unchanged.I don't see the issue IMHO as everyone that has the double speed promo had to physically opt in by clicking a button, no other ISP was offering this AFAIK. They know it's a promo and for how long or else they wouldn't have done it in the first place of going into the clientzone, clicking on the line, then clicking upgrade. It was fun while it lasted.
Anyway, let's see. I think there going to be plenty customers who aren't expecting to pay more from the 1st April and are going to have lots to say.
It's easier to migrate a customers account upwards and charge pro rata than it is going to be to down grade the accounts. SO someone who suddenly finds themselves back on 100mbps from the 1st can request 200mbps and have the conversation re price but someone who remains on 200mbps on the 1st is going to wonder why they paying R200 more month end. If they've missed the cutoff to downgrade they stuck with that bill for the month of April.
