Impressive, order for Openserve fibre was placed at 11:11am yesterday , the installer will be here at 08:00am this morning.

We have logged this with our upstream provider.
It can be both.
If you get that IP as a WAN IP on the router then it's a public IP. If you get 100.9 as the WAN IP address then it's a natted IP address.

And there Openserve dropped the ball, too many upstream errors to activate the fibre.

Hi @AfriNatic , I am on Afrihost OpenServe fibre and since yesterday morning (7 April) I have been experiencing packet loss. There is no constant connection, the drop occurs every few minutes. The fault was logged but it actually seems to be the whole area (Lenasia South) .... Telkom ADSL also drops at the same time in the area! No one is able to provide an update or ETR. It impossible to be on a "Teams" call as it drops every 2/3 minutes. A ping test to www.afrihost.co.za shows 20% packet loss.

I would say it's been like this for the past few nights. I have seen the same patterns of latency recently.
We are aware of the issues and have logged it with our upstream provider.
