My business account seems to be working okay. 300KB/s torrents with browsing unaffected. Won't criticise download speeds until Afrihost's network status has a green light.

My latency is okayish. However, I just switched over from axxess because of the shaping and now I see that my download speeds are rarely going over 500KBps at the moment(10mbps account). I was wondering if this was just because of the international issues or are the speeds always like this. On Axxess i got 1MBps/900KBps average? Just wondering.
How do you get 150ms but I'm at 300ms? Are people on the east coast running on a different line to those in cape town?
Where is Afriman or the support i heard was so good here?
I now cant log onto League of Legends.
Where is Afriman or the support i heard was so good here?
Really?? Are you expecting him to be here on this forum 24/7 ?
Is it too much for you to pick up the phone and get hold of support or email them?
Yes i do expect support to be available 24/7 because that's how a company with a big client base should operate.
And the phone lines are not going through because its weekend.
Except Afriman is a single representative of Afrihost, so for you to expect him to be avail 24/7 is unreasonable.
I do not think it is fair to expect a rep of any ISP to sit all day/night on a forum such as MyBB to be at your beck and call. Don't recall seeing 'support on mybb forum' listed as a value-add on their website or under their services sold to you.
My account has been 100% dead for the last 45 minutes. Luckily I have FNB connect. What's up?
Can you do a ping test to www.bbc.co.uk for me just so i can see if you also getting high latency like me?
