Afrihost Uncapped DSL Feedback

Steam is all over the place, 150 - 600KB/s
 
20KB/s on 8Mb business uncapped wtf

Edit: make that 4KB/s on steam....
 
Yeah terrible speeds all round for me as well. 2 hours for a 300mb update on steam
 
we see bad speeds with the capped as well specially on http with shaping only stopping at about 1am in the morning

Looks like the latency is possibly in Mweb's network. Are you able to test a server hosted elsewhere?

The teamspeak hosted by afrihost was also showing shoddy ping, can't test now I'm at work but shaping is definitely being applied to me.

Shaping shouldn't apply to services like TS. Have you used an unshaped account to test? If you drop me a PM, I can give you some login details.
