LOL, I thought so. Could you give it a test?

I guess the next step would be to run the same tests on another ISP backbone (not Axxess) so we can compare. Do you have another ISP account to test with? Maybe drop me a PM so we can co-ordinate. We must stick to the same conditions (time tested, length, etc).
Telkom gave me their login for their guest account and i got exactly the same info/ speed. 6.2 on my 10mb line.
Not sure how it can jump from 8 to 64 with no one on the line. PS just got the line upgraded to Fast path today, so that 64 would have been 100+
So what's happening with the speed? I'm barely hitting 1mbit on a 4mbit line in YouTube. The issue happens on both Uncapped and Free 1GB Afrihost account. Free 1GB atleast hits 2.5Mbit peak. My free WebAfrica account hits the full 4mbit. What's going on?
How'd you go about getting it back onto fast path?

There is an issue in the East at the moment affecting performance of the DSL accounts there. Did the drop in speed happen this afternoon?
Just the past couple of hours my line is performing badly (1mb/s). Syncing perfectly over 4mb but very slow here at the moment.
Ping: 87ms
Download: 1.01Mbps
Upload: 0.36Mbps
(newcastle northern kzn)
Hello again Guys!
Just an update, the issue in the East has been resolved, performance should be returning to normal.
