Afrihost Uncapped DSL Feedback

On 29/06/2017 Afrifella wrote in response to a long running billing dispute: "I've received feedback from our Accounts Manager (who who should be in touch with you today) and they will be working out a full refund refund from the first time you requested your account to be bundled."

That was 53 days ago and to date all I have got are assurances on this forum that its in hand. What I haven't got is a refund or the return of my calls and emails to the person in the accounts department who is supposed to be doing it.

Your credit should have been processed by now. I've asked our Accounts Team for clarity. As mentioned, your refund has been approved so there shouldn't be any further problems.
 
Guys is it afrihost related or dstv related that show-max and catch-up buffer even on the fastest lines? does anyone else have this problem.

Yes, it certainly should have been processed by now, but it hasn't. That is consistent with pretty much everything I have been told. I'll provide you with weekly feedback on progress or the lack thereof here.

There services use locally cached CDNs which means you really should have the best experience, unless you're using other DNS settings. Can you confirm the DNS settings you're using?

Not since ive ticked the recapture box, maybe ban that IP and i get a new one just to be sure?

That's very strange... I've just reset your account, can you please keep your modem off for 5 to 10 minutes. That should make sure you are assigned a different IP.

I know this is a silly question, but it has actually caused this in the past, is the time set correctly on your laptop or computer? If Google servers detect a discrepancy in the time settings it can actually cause this.

I can check when I get home, I know it's set to Internet time but I'll double check.
