Best Uncapped ISP for 1024kbps

I was on 384 and my exchange couldn't handle 4MB ......i didnt upgrade to 512 because of the price difference.....however for 1MB I dont mind paying the little extra.
Big difference when compared to 384

Cancelled my Mweb 384 uncapped
Got a 1MB line and Webadfrica's RED special (130GB)

1Meg uncapped really shouldn't be more than R300pm. Either that or the ISP's need to come out with something at that price level. Anything more and we might as well go 4Meg, anything less and we are in 384k territory again.

That would be the sweet spot Shayd, but unfortunately Telscum still want to bum fak you from behind. To ease the price ratio, the ISP's need to step in and lower their prices to make it affordable to the masses. If the price is right then its a win-win situation which means more folks will sign up and upgrade to 1meg and the ISP's will have enough clients to make it sustainable ans survive to.

Personally I believe the sweet spot is R300 account only and R600 including line.

Sent from my droid blender, making apple and berry smoothies all day.

Could someone who has a Openweb Gold uncapped account tell me how badly shaped are the torrents?

As long as you aren't on the VB backbone torrents fly.

Which backbone would you suggest? VC was ok in the beginning and then just went to the shthouse. Neology was good for a long time, but recently followed the same route. IS...well...we all know about IS -although, honestly, I haven't been on their backbone...yet(?).
Suggestions (for OpenWeb) are welcome. (This wrt torrents specifically.)

Afrihost have come to the 1024 Uncapped party @ R397/m.

pretty ridiculous. Was waiting for them to come out with a good price and trying to be "loyal". Looks like will have to somewhere else. Would you guys recommend Mweb or Openweb for 1Mbps uncapped? Mainly use it for youtube and i dont download. Would say use around 30-40GBs per month.

30-40GB & you say you dont download? How do you manage 30GB of youtube? lol

About R30 more than Mweb/Openweb... I'm giving them a try for a month or so. So far, so good.

Will Mweb be offering an Internet Addict 1mbps package?

I'm quite sure this will be released soon as Mweb is all about uncapped anyways!

I plan on opening a 1024k account with Mweb on my 4096k line. Should be adequate methinks?

What is the avg Gigs p/m on 1Mbps line that ISP's will consider throttling your line? For example a "range of 50-60Gb a month"?

Awesome :D. I was just considering how much you can download on a 1Mbps line, the benefit and the cost for the upgrade (through the ISP). cost vs benefit to see if its worthwile

Well you should be able to download between 100 and 200GBs a month on a 1024k

So i am on Axxess's 1mb "just uncapped" and its allright i guess. Have done 27gb this month which equates to 2.25gb a day. Right now i am at 2 stars (believe one star is the worst).
Im not really enjoying the throttling and was wondering what isp will give you a 1mb account that can download 100 - 150gb a month and play games without any throttling.
I was thinking about mweb but ive read alot of people moaning about the speeds lately. I work from home so cant have 10kb/s during the day (although with axxess with 2 stars im getting 20 -30kb/s max during the day.)

What you guys think?

I am saying the limit before you start to get throttled. I'm quite sure most ppl can exceed 100GB on a 1Mbps line if they wanted to
