Big ADSL data bonus for Telkom Internet users

LOL, right after I cancelled my DoBroadband in favor of 8.ta's 10GB promo. Would have been useless anyway since I couldn't get more than 100Kb/s on my ADSL anyway.
 
These are how the standard packages should be:

1GB subscribers will get 5GB
5GB subscribers will get 10GB
9GB subscribers will get 20GB
 
It is like giving me 12 beers, and after I've had only 2, you take the remaining 10 away. It is cruel.
 
Hopefully, its trials to see if your network can handle higher caps. Now back to reality even if its for two months it was unexpected.
 
Pleasant surprise - I am a 9GB subscribers and have to top up every month, so the 20GB should serve my needs.

Great to see that Telkom is starting to compete with promotions similar to other ISPs.

I still wouldn't touch TelkomInternet (the ISP). What a PITA to monitor traffic usage, do topups, billing, admin, etc. Their systems are slow, fugly and very user-unfriendly.

But nevertheless, this is slightly positive. Telkom arrives at the party, almost 2 years late.
 
I wonder what doctor idiot (whatever his name was) will say when he sees that users make full use of these higher caps in the next 2 months
 
Am I the only one who sees that they say it is only valid for the next 2 months? Unless this is some sort of test phase to see if Telkom can sustain it, I would not be moving over just for the sake of 2 months decent pricing.
 
Wow, Telkom's idiocy never fails to amaze me. It makes total business sense to give your customers a taste of what moving to a competitor's service would be like, then take it away after 2 months leaving them wanting more.
