bonus any one ?

Still in suspense here.. Our company usually pays half bonus end of Dec and the other half end of Jan. :/

Forgot to mention tha we get paid on the 20th but gotta wait till the 31st for half. That' s if we actually get it. bleh

Why would you want to delay a bonus payment until the end of Jan, doesn't seem to make sense to me.

We got our bonus paid on 5th of Dec and our Dec salaries are going to be paid on the 18th. Long stretch until Jan's pay day. And the school holidays here in the Cape (at least) is very long.
 
Just a 13th cheque; would have liked more but so be it.

Arguably "worse" is payday on the 12th/13th this year; waaay to early IMO; for my sweet spot for Dec salary/bonus is 19th/20th

I'm also not a fan of payday and bonus being so early in December, mine also happened on Friday but I'm ok as far as budgeting goes. The people I feel sorry for are those who p*ss it all out during December and come January they're in all sorts of trouble. I've heard of so many people over the years who go on great holidays and come back and can't pay their bond, school fees, etc. I shouldn't feel sorry for them but I do, I think it's just too tempting for some.
 
We're getting bonuses, mine should be around 56K, they deduct a bit extra in tax each month so we dont get taxed on our bonuses.
 
Work as a contractor so no bonus :( At least the move to Mauritius is a nice perk ;)
 
I seem to be getting a bonus equal to 100% of my monthly CTC, so effectively a 13th cheque. Since our company doesn't do bonuses or 13th cheques, colour me shocked.
