Can't remove bathroom basin!

That basin is just sitting on the top with silicon holding it. Use a thin strong wire to cut through silicon like advised on first page. Once most silicon was cut you can loosen any remainder silicon by holding two opposite corner of basin and twisting clockwise and anti clockwise to loosen everything
Op has not tried all the suggestion yet.

1. Since he is going to replace the countertop. Why not removed the whole countertop and put it on its side?
2. Used the wire trick as recommended by many.
3. The old hammer trick if you Thor, or if you more Hulk like you can just Hulk Smash.
4. Some silicone remover suggestions

Op just seems to try and pull it apart with his bare hands and wonder why he is not succeeding.

So hard that a hack saw can’t remove it? (Giving Khan benefit of the doubt here)
Could be a type of cement or grouting maybe.
Like I said, its not hard. The silicon is probably such a thin layer, the hacksaw is getting stuck between the basin and the counter top.

Edit: Ever seen what water does when a bullet is fired into it? Stop thinking about a little blob of silicon. Silicon spread over an area you not just going to push something through it like butter.

Not sure if anyone else has suggested but maybe try using some kind of solvent that works on silicone? I'm not sure if IPA or maybe Acetone might do the trick? Good luck
