Cell C Network Issues: Disconnects, Coverage, Throughput Problems - Report Here

I swear having 2 x sims in my phone you realise how completely **** the network has become, Telkom is a far superior network and I can see it live using 2 sims on same phone


We have telkom here but not the proper signal for the fancy LTE packages.

Going to cancel the service tomorrow if its not fixed by then. They have had this issue before in the few months I've had this, so the fix should be already known (if it ever was broken and sim not just switched off to save the isp money)

@Cell_C - no response from anybody, still down since Wednesday.
 
Even on Twitter they quite. Asked my contact details last night and that was it....

Afrihost ISP Cell C LTE Fixed wireless and live in Stellenbosch. Getting speeds of ±0.04mbps constantly throughout the day for 2 weeks. Simcards have been changed and all the stuff the consumer has to do; even filled in a forum for CellC but received no feedback.

I will switch when Fibre becomes available as I will not fall prey to the same false marketing I received from CellC/Afrihost. Most days have been stable but this is not a good option if you run a business from home.

How can I push for companies to supply the infrastructure in my area as we have many households who are fed-up and will switch to fibre?

Phalaborwa LTE is still down since wednesday morning, on contract 100gb LTE sim. there is *no service* when forcing it to 4g/lte then it jumps back to 3g. When searching for the LTE signal, it finds it, but then refuses connection upon selecting network.

No comment from Cellc on forum
No update on reference number from tech support

Some strike action at Cell C also not helping. I have a 200 GB contract which I would love to cancel.

Around the middle of March MP, it was really fast and then for a weekend, the entire tower was basically a stick in the air and upload speeds have been amazing, but download is terrible.
 
Something is up with my tower. Download speeds are pathetic.

Moved the router to another location and it picked up another tower which seems to have better download speeds.

Utter trash. The speedtest is way higher than i actually get at night, around 20kBps download from anywhere.

CellC has been completely unusable in Potchefstroom the past few weeks. Tried my LTE-A setup in Rustenburg the weekend, can't even reach a 1Mbps download speed for most of the day. At 02:00 in the morning it is flying, but then I am asleep.

How is my Network.. Same **** different... YOU did nothing to report Bandwidth Problems on that Tower!! Typical Customer Support.. Think the network is fine in the Morning... WHAT ABOUT PEAK TIMES.. your Network cant handle the LOAD.... FIX YOUR ****!!!!!!!
