Cheaper 3G Prices - Rep?

It was today 2 weeks since we learned that MTN changed all their bundles to be better than the Advanced Broadband bundles of VodaCON and still no response from VodaCON. With MTN about 33.333% cheaper than VodaCON for 2Gigs per month, I am sure that many people will start leaving for the better MTN rates.

It is also now more than a month after the cheaper interconnect rates came into affect and still no change to the Vodacom or MTN contract rates. We as consumers can only be ripped of for so long!

VodaCON. I think thats so great and VERY True!! - Vodacom take note!!

I finally made the plunge, ordered ADSL384, waited about 2 weeks for installation, did a self install. Then M-Web dropped the bomb regarding Uncapped ADSL...

I signed up Afrihost for an Uncapped ADSL384 account. Afrihost has the best support in my opinion in RSA!

Speed wise, I see almost no difference between Vodacom HSDPA and ADSL384! The difference I do see is the cost saving!!!!!!

Thank you Vodacom, it was fun while it lasted, but I can't carry on spending on average R800 to R1200 (4 to 6Gig) for Internet a month, when I can spend all inclusive R 475 a month uncapped!!

So much fun with my 68MB per day

Vodacom, thank you so much for providing me with my awesome 68MB per day (2GB per month) for R389.

With that 68MB, I keep my little business running, reading emails, sending and receiving attachments, deploying changes to my applications, downloading software updates, researching, providing remote support to my customers, internet banking, ..... ok I admit I do read some news and articles sometimes :o

I usually go over that limit, currently I am on 188MB for the day but at least that gives me a reason not to work on weekends because I need to watch my daily limit.

But that's fine Vodacom, as long as you are happy with the R389 I give you each month, that's all that counts.

K, I will stop now :(

why don't you get MWeb ADSL where you can download as much as you like for THE SAME PRICE?

Did the guy with the gun to your head stay with you all the time while you signed up to Vodacom?

you can still get it then afaik - get Telkom wireless and get mweb uncapped for like R200 a month
(PS: You don't even need a Telephone line for telkom wireless)

Maybe I should try them again, last time I checked they were not installing wireless. Maybe it's changed.
