I've been wanting to migrate to the 2GB Advanced bundle since it was announced in April. It is still not available on vodacom4me. I think I am just going to migrate to the 1GB Advanced bundle now, get 1GB free and save myself R100.

DSL line is taking longer to install than anticipated, but you can rest easy that once it's on... I am gone from Vodacom.

Migrate to TopUP!
Darn Telkom taking long to get me my ADSL as well...
But in the mean time I found out some news which made me a bit happier.
I was able to migrate my MyGig3 contract to a top-up 135 (With no migration fee
)
Now I am paying only R520 for 3GB not the R642 + I can completely avoid OOB costs
Plus for R678 I can get 3.5GB which is only R36 for an extra 500MB compared to the MyGig3:erm:
Why did I not do this months ago

Me neither. OC & VD managed to load one for me, see here, but I have no idea how people who are not on the forum are supposed to get them, last time I called 111 they didn't know about the new bundles either.

Vodacom can offer an Unshaped, Uncapped, Unlimited, Zero T&C HSDPA Offering, @ R99 per month.
All they have to do then is advertise it so that "You must load it yoursef, no assistance from call center will be given".
And then... Nothing.
Nobody will use it. EVER!

Jannie might have alot of influence , but i doubt he can affect the pricing.

Let him try and sort out the shyte in the Middle East, in Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan and in the Springbok rugby side first. After that he can have a real job: Sorting out Vodacom's inconsistent pricing before tea!

I think he has a better chance of sorting out Vodacom's pricing than fixing the Middle East and Springbok rugby.
