Cheaper 3G Prices - Rep?

Why was my post deleted someone needs to put him on his place ...
 
The people in my family that had pre-paid 3G bundles are now moving to ADSL because its cheaper and they get much more bandwidth than they would have got while paying even less. Sure it might be a bit slower but that far outweighs the price per MB on 3G.

but yeah, I agree - enough messing around something needs to be done here we have had enough :erm:

I mean - iburst is lower than bat sh*t but at least they tried to listen to their users and even had a couple of price changes - good or bad depending on whether you want cheaper caps or throttled.

Vodacom hasn't done ANYTHING to their offers in like 3 years! :sick:
 
Sorry guys , i cannot comment on data charges as there is nothing in the pipe line yet.

I wont be renewing my contract, but I wont be leaving the network. The service im happy with, you helped me excellently before. Just pricing is killing us. :(

VD, I know you cant do anything about the prices, but damn Im so tired of hearing that "there is nothing in the pipeline"!! If VC hasnt made a plan by know, they plain full of cr@p! They need to lower their prices if they want to survive. In the meantime they are milking all the "stupid" people who doesnt know better and profiting from the people who has no other choice (Im one of them who has no choice). But sooner or later its gonna catch up to them and then it sgoing to be too late....:mad:

Ja VD, there is nothing in the pipeline and that is the problem. This thread is almost on 30 pages now and is one of the most active Vodacom threads on this site. Pressure needs to be put on the powers that be as this cannot carry on like this anymore.

We are not asking you to change 500mb, 1gb data bundles, we are just asking for better pricing on high end bundles like 5gb, 10gb and 20gb. We cant pay R4000 for this, it is just crazy.

dude if my GF goes OOB, she could end up paying R2000 for a single Gig!
 
I understand where you guys are coming from, i'm also a customer of Vodacom and would like to see the charges come down.
 
It seems the only way Vodacom will bring down prices then is either if MTN bring them down or enough people are moving over to ADSL. And that won't happen over night :(
 
You can add me to the list of people about to leave, I just need to find someone to use R400 a month on my Top Up package for another 12 months. I'm willing to let someone use it for R250 (no I'm not looking for offers from here)

Not sure how that's going to help you. Their data bundles cost exactly the same.

MTN's Out of bundle prices are extremely good!

How much does Vodacom's "Broadband Advanced" Bundles cost again?

Where have you been?

MTN are much cheaper in the smaller bundles and all of their bundles have OOB=IB for the duration of the bundle (60 days from purchase, not up to 60 days).

For the bulk of people who are on pre-paid OOB prices mean nothing.
