Already got my ADSL installed all ready. Vodacom = 1 less data customer.

Get this - She tells me about their 3G Offers coming up - R999 once-off and you get a Modem, and 5 GIGS per month, every month, for 12 Months.

The rumors were TRUE!

This offer will be available soon, they are just waiting for the batch of Dongles, and will be rolling out their brand new Data network City by City

Which network did she represent?

oh well - still an amazing deal - works out to R160pm instead of 80 bucks per month. for 5 Gigs that is dirt cheap :wtf:

According to the information received this Cell C mobile broadband promotion will be launched on the 20th of August 2010, and will be available for a limited period of 3 months.

It's not that bad IMO, i've used it plenty times...

- I use it to phone my boss to tell him i'm taking the next day off. he's not too thrilled about it usually but at least I save a few bucks.
- Check the phonebook! people forget about this!!!! If you have a plumbing problem, roof problem, Need PC Repairs or whatever, just open the yellow pages and look for businesses that operate 24HRS. they are a bit more expensive but hey - we gotta use up those free minutes!
- I also sometimes phone Bimbo's around 3ish, as they are open 24HRS. I usually just ask about their menu and what sauces they use though... then I make Myself a sandwich as I'm hungry by then.

Night Owl is a new promotion, offering Broadband Advanced customers additionalfree data.

Promotion duration:
From Sunday, 18 July 2010 at 00:01 am (one minute past midnight), until Friday, 31 December 2010, 05:00 am.
Who qualifies?
Broadband Advanced customers with a MyGig 1 bundle, either on a 24 month data contract; or bolt-on month-to-month; or with a once-off bundle.
What is the reward?
The same allocation as your current 1 Gig Advanced bundle.
When can customers use their additional free data?
Daily, from 00:01 am (one minute past midnight) to 05:00 am.
