Vumatel suspect a capacity issue to the area on the Vumatel aerial network. But they are busy with it. Sunday evenings are the busiest of the week so would probably be the worst time.

Sounds to me this could be a recurring issue. Every time everyone in the area is logged in, capacity will be an issue!Vumatel suspect a capacity issue to the area on the Vumatel aerial network. It can't be a recurring issue if our area literally only went live like two weeks ago. Just have some patience and I'm sure it will be resolved. Your not alone in this so it should be escalated and fixed relatively quickly!
Thanks @PBCool for the hlp
I wonder how they did their capacity planning as I'm sure these areas don't have a very high penetration yet and we are already struggling with capacity.
So one evening with an issue which we don't know what the cause was and everyone is willing to take Vuma to the cleaners. I'm happy with waiting until tomorrow and if its not resolved by tomorrow night I'll have an issue.
Its not just tonight
@mugikhan, if you either work from home or run a business from home you can't afford a loss of couple of hours. I hope you understand our anxiety. So one evening with an issue which we don't know what the cause was and everyone is willing to take Vuma to the cleaners. I also work from home and if you see my speedtests its not like the service is completely dead. I understand your anxiety but people are blaming cool ideas when it is clearly not their fault. Vumatel will probably resolve the issue by tomorrow or so I'd like to think.
Please log it, are you seeing the same to multiple test servers or just ours?Cape Town cisp 100/100 on Octotel infrastructure also very "sick" this evening..

We have reports other ISPs are also having issues in the area. Do you suspect a line issue?Other residents in the area on different ISP’s aren’t affected who utilize the same infrastructure. Would lead me to believe it’s not capacity related.

This is clearly congestion on the layer2 network. I have other customers stating they have neighbors in the same area with different providers also with similar issues.I’ve checked with 3 other residents On WA, iConnect and Crystalweb and they haven’t noticed or experienced the same slowdowns and high latency.
This mornings results again ...
