Is anybody on Vumatel Aireal fibre having issues connecting? I am getting LCP timeout errors when trying to establish a PPP connection.
If you are having trouble it's authing it's a line or account issue.

Has there been any update regarding poor international speed during peak?

Again tonight, twitch is buffering insanely. Which does not occur at all during the day.

Last night's speedtest after peak:

There has to be some acknowledgement by now about this.

Edit:
Just going to throw this here: https://i.imgur.com/I1CChO0.png
As mentioned I need a few days with OS to resolve this so please be patient with me.

Cape Town, Vumatel. Look at that packet loss. This is every night now :-(

Guys in general there are no issues, posting tests to servers overseas with no particular reason for issue isn't going to help the way the service or network works. As far as OS is concerned we see an issue and have mentioned this takes days to resolve with them. So please be a bit more particular with the thread if you are having issues so I can try and assist.

@PBCool, I managed to cancel my cancellation with MTN as advised by the service department. I'll wait for you guys to get the final order forms from MTN (who knows how long that'll take....) and cancel when you guys give me the go ahead.

Hi, if you are getting 14Mbps and others are getting sub 50Mbps it's more than likely a line or wireless internal network issue.
It is a wired connection, directly with router.

Local speeds are full line speed up and down.

Vumatel trenched, Durbanville. Not sure what more info you need to be able to asist.

@pbcool - not sure if you were referring to my traceroute to www.google.co.za when you were talking about international servers? In any case, at the same time a smokeping to your web site looked like this:

Local ping to Cape Town at the same time is perfect:

I therefore doubt it is Vumatel, or anything more close to home - looks like an issue up to Johannesburg every night.

Vumatel with Coolideas 200/200 in Durbanville using http://uk.testmy.net/SmarTest/down

First test : 180Mbit
Second test : 110Mbit
Third test : 130Mbit

Im not entirely certain how reliable this test is, each testrun it ranges between different speed none of which reflect any other speedtest I try or my general experience every day either.

On dslreport speedtest and speedtest.net just about every test throws me in the 5% range of 200Mbit results every time which make me doubt testmy.net result variations be correct.

That being said, having zero speed issues compared to the other post here from Durbanville so I am thinking your issues must be somewhere else I am fairly certain I would be seeing the same problems being on the same fibre area network

Was going to message you the same, we have a manual order form now but even so it will take them some time.

@PBCool: In order to make your life as easy as possible, and to provide you with the most useful information in order to narrow down on the cause of problems, what are the steps that we can take, tools that we can use and information that we can provide that would be most effective?

I also experienced massive packet loss last night ~8pm whilst gaming WoW and Diablo 3 (D3 is especially bad). I am on Vuma Aerial (Fibrehoods) in an area with very little fibre uptake as of yet, so I doubt it's local congestion. Around 10pm is was fine again.
