I dont follow, are you saying there is nowhere to configure a PPP maybe? I have configured one on static/dynamic IPs before.

Whoops, I see there is a PPP option if you forgo regular routing at the USG address. I would really not recommend anyone do that. Looks more basic than an abacus.

Just an idea of current speeds. Cool Ideas, Vumatel, 100/100.

Disclaimer: These were done over a Wifi connection - So, no, I will not using them as for troubleshooting purposes...

With these longer distance, you can really see the TCP scaling go... So, given more time, they might go even higher.

I envy you.

I have used a USG for plenty of PPPoE Connections/DHCP it has some really advance features if you use the Unifi controller and will be using this for my 200/200 CI line once Octotel FINALLY splices De Tuin (whenever) that may be have heard the USG can do 500MBps with NAT if not have an RB3011UiASM in a box somewhere :crylaugh:

I wouldn't use EOH or Vox servers as they peer locally. Which fibre provider?

True, but I'M still not winning on them.

TT Connect. You are welcome to pick up my ticket details at 20171114-53580.

Yeah no huge surprise there, quite a few issues with TTConnect these days.

Please log it, if it happened once there us a good chance it will happen again, most issues we see like this are on the PON networks.

@PBCool , you were right. Happened again. Only restarted the ONT (not my router) and it fixed the problem. Will log a call with Vuma.

Cool they should replace the ONT.

Are the international speeds on Openserve being looked at? It's making streaming BBC iPlayer impossible, which is incredibly frustrating. <10Mbps to most international destinations on a single thread is a real problem.

Guys in general there are no issues, posting tests to servers overseas with no particular reason for issue isn't going to help the way the service or network works. As far as OS is concerned we see an issue and have mentioned this takes days to resolve with them. So please be a bit more particular with the thread if you are having issues so I can try and assist.

Yeap still waiting on them, I should have feedback tomorrow.

Sitting in the exact same boat... 100mb line on TT Connect topping out at 20mb, upload sitting at 40ish... Have had a ticket open for more than a week now, keep asking me for more speed tests directly into ONT with windows PPPoE dial up etc... Still waiting for someone to sort something out...

HAHA, same here. We wait in anticipation....

Any chance you are in the Bedfordview JHB area? Cause that may be a clue.
