Now to be fair, to compare to my local. Yes that's over Wifi and yes the same network. But you can't blame 7.62 Mb/sec vs 50Mb/sec on a 5GHz local wifi network.

I'm with Octotel (200/200). That's just one variable of many that can have impact on speeds.

I would have assumed that international performance can only have so much variability with the same ISP though. Our fibre networks have unique infrastructure and configurations, but at some local point I'd have expected things to converge when they leave to access international destinations.

Can't really compare wifi vs wired though. Wifi is too unpredictable to give consistent results.

You could have packet loss on your link which then has a larger impact on retransmissions on international traffic.

Yeah a iperf3 test should show whether you are getting retransmissions on your link.

PB do we have any idea on Lynwood zone 1:3 yet? Frogfoot isn't being very helpfull when I ask for a proper update.
