Initially replied to [email protected]
Then when no reply also included [email protected] in both subsequent emails.

Emailed cancellation to both addresses + phoned in and spoke to Brett earlier + have signed up with another provider already.

Please PM me your details anyway so I can find out what happened. That is very much not normal.

OK, so going by my CoolIdeas supplied router for my 100/100Mbit/sec account,
http://www.tp-link.com/us/article/?faqid=465
My Cool Ideas router's top speed for WAN to LAN is 92.9Mbit/sec according to the manufacturer. Would this cause problems on long distance connections?

Note that this is the test conditions max speed, I don't know if a router CPU/memory can sustain top speeds for long.

Nope shouldn't have any affect. If a device can route that speed it doesn't mean it can do it for a short period of time. It means it can do so continuously.

I got a TP-Link AC750.

Thanks.

Was this part of your 200/200 account? When CISP first set up my 100/100 account Octotel set it up as a 10/10 or 15/15 account by mistake, I wonder if someone at CISP did not send this slow router as a result. As is this router can't do full 100Mbits per the manufacturer. It tops at 92Mbit/sec. PB Cool says those 8Mbits don't matter but I wonder if my slow international performance is not because of the router not being able to handle the connections and dropping packets. I'm still waiting on CISP to comment on the IPERF data I sent though.

Latest speed test:
27.6/39.7 Mbps

Thanks.

Yeah 200Mbps service has a 200Mbps capable router, as mentioned your current router wont have an affect. Easy way to test is to plug straight into the ONT and test with your PC.

But the router you supply is not capable of the line speed you provide. That seems quite dodgy to me.

Thanks.

I don't use their router, have my own PfSense firewall on my own hardware.

Thanks.
