Thanks will keep that in mind for future, everything was back to normal this morning when I woke up.Netream usually have wireless backhaul links whilst they wait for their fibre so log it it if it continues and we will take it up with them.

As mentioned in the mail I didn't say all is fine, there is packet loss on your line. When Vumatel "checks" a line all they do is check optical levels that's it. We will be escalating your issue with Vumatel also as mentioned in the mail.
I know this is frustrating but as an ISP we don't have control of the quality or layer2 network.
PM me your ticket number.Who can help me. Signed up on Cool Ideas, they told me I cannot activate my line isn't properly installed.
Now I've been struggling for days to get Vumatel to do something about it. I'm at a loss, they have the most useless department and keep escalating between cape town and jhb.
PBCool, are you Paul Butschi? If yes, can you please check your email, the fibre infrastructure guys finished installation on Friday and our company is ready to get connected. I left a voice message on your cell yesterday as well.
Please contact me if you need details.
Philip
Hi Philip, aware of your mail, your configuration on the high site has been scheduled, please be patient. I will liaise with you via mail as I have updates for you.
Thanks PBCool, you are telling me all fine, Vumatel says all fine and why am I getting max 5% of my line speed to international servers than? I cannot stream or use any international service since Saturday...
Do these speeds look fine on a 200mbps package? I am in Weltevreden Park, Vumatel.

Question, Vumatel is installing my line monday morning. I have a ubiquity edge router, how quick can I be online after they the installation team leaves my house? I already signed up via the form on the CISP site, but the Vumatel installation email says after install I should head to the portal to sign up for a service, this still needed?
Have you logged it? You might be in the same area.Same boat for 2 weeks now, local traffic is blazing.. international crawls
You should be online within minutes of it's Trenched, you just register on the Vumatel portal and choose your package.Question, Vumatel is installing my line monday morning. Same for me.Same boat for 2 weeks now, local traffic is blazing.. international crawls
Is this still happening at peak times? There is no exact process per say, if you constantly have no international we need to have the line checked or take it up with Vumatel.I have been having similar poor speeds(Vumatel/trenched/Gardens) - local is fine, international is poor.
What I require from Cool Ideas is the exact process/cookbook to follow when it does occur.
Also, what is the best site to gauge your performance - shout you be getting full speed when testing on international speedtest sites?
Same applies here.Same for me.
Durbanville Vumatel.
Why is this not being addressed?
Unable to do any streaming tonight.
SADV are supposed to notify us of the line config, we then courier the router. Often they don't, you can pm me your account name and I can have the connect team confirm for you.Great...On Monday SADV configured the ONT.
Now how long will it take Cool Ideas to courier the router?
