PB is there any indication when Vuma will complete the upgrade for the northriding area?

I am currently experiencing 10mbps local and 1mbps international...
They told me it's done on Twitter and it was indeed at full speed again but a few minutes later it was back to the same story.

Maybe it's just a surge, maybe it's still pear shaped.

Why are there 2 local hops?

But you can see the next hop on the OS network there is packet loss, that MTR is fine to send in the ticket

First hop is my UniFi Security Gateway. Second hop is the Zyxel router.

Why use two routers?

The USG setup guide, Ubiquiti support web page and the Ubiquiti live chat support all mention using a modem with the USG for internet connectivity, so that's how I set it up. I also like the extensive features of a normal router.

Nothing about the documentation of the USG makes it out to be a router. It's described quite clearly as a means of accessing all the Ubiquiti UniFi features.

I have the USG and only use the USG. You don’t need another router. The USG is a router.

PM me if you need assistance.

@PBCOOL - So Vumatel says my line is fine and to contact my ISP. Cool Ideas says there is still a problem with the line. Vumatel and Cool Ideas now blame each other for the issue.

What do I do now? CI is still going to expect me to pay at the end of the month for a service I am not getting.

Hi as per the PM, the technician said the line was fine but it's intermittent as reported by Vumatels own portal. Vumatel technicians were supposed to return to your premises which they haven't done. This is very frustrating for us as well.

I'll try it out just now when I'm done uploading. Does the USG have loads of router options? Don't want a situation where my router is dumb as a brick.

Your USG is behaving the same as it would being the only device, routing natting filtering.

Most of the functionality like port forwarding, firewall, UPNP, Routes, etc. you can find in the GUI (UniFi Controller). Some specific things you might have to set in CLI.

@pbcool

Is there something up with steam downloads recently? It seems to be shaped/throttled? Last few days i seem to only download at around ~5mb/s, half of my 100mb line. Speedtest and Youtube still shows i can achieve full speed.

Did they give you a ticket number?

Sadly this was all on twitter.

I do have an open ticket with you and just for extra info. Everyone in my complex is having the same issue.
