I am able to stream 1080p twitch with or without extension in google chome, but I am with Vodacom and currently we have an issue where either the stream doesn't start or between 07:30pm and 10pm the internet is useless. Other than that, it works without issues. Streaming to twitch is another issue though, so I use restream.me
 
Watching Twitch streams is perfectly fine for me, Can watch multiple source quality streams at once.

Streaming too twitch is impossible with SA internet, What i do is i have an Amazon AWS instance in London which i get a better connection to that the twitch servers, i use it as a RTMP relay server... I still get loads of frame drops (Around 3%-4% per stream) but for the most part i can stream at 6000 bitrate, so it's the best i'm going to get until there are AWS instances in South Africa or a Twitch ingest server.

I'm waiting for an ISP to wake up and setup a local server for it's subscribers that relay's the traffic consistently well to twitch servers... Lock it to only allow IP addresses from their pool and BAM! They will get a butt load of people signing up to them.

Hi Paul, Vuma really made a mess of our installation. Thankfully everything seems to be working fine except for very weak wi-fi signal but by running ethernet cables to the various devices we're hoping to overcome that issue.

One thing that would really help is if we could get a longer power cable for the CPE. Do you know if they're available?

Just get any generic power source with the same output (look on the brick)

Speed has dramatically increased, and it looks like all of a sudden I am getting what I am paying for. 48Mbps down & 56Mbps up :D

Many thanks for sorting it out.

What exactly was the problem?

Irritating that everything's being supplied with power cable shorter than 1 m :(

I'm also keen. I'll upgrade the moment the 200Mbps Openserve package isn't nonsensically more expensive than 100Mbps. Currently it's R910 more.

Nonsensical until you knew what IPC cost.
 
My connection dropped at 6:24. Vumatel Aerial/Mitsol in Kloof. PON is sync'd but PPPOE doesn't mature.

Thanks, I guess there'd be more complaints if it was at Teraco, so I'm guessing it's backhaul. Hopefully LinkAfrica have multiple routes.

Not hating, just saying nonsensical to consumers. Either you guys are clinically retarded or are dealing with bs upstream costs, and I know which is more likely. I was hoping there was a chance of it just being a delay in reducing the price in line with the other products, but we've ruled that out a little while back.
