Careful with this one, it basically just links you to Apple's CDN for the files and does not host the files themselves. So depending on whether you get a local cache or connect to US/EU speeds will vary.

Correct, testing the 10Gbps claim... :p

Runs at a solid 25Mbps-28Mbps for me.

Time to ask the boss for an upgrade... :p

Check where the file is coming from? If it's not coming from the limelight peer then that might be why which we can investigate. And are you using our DNS?

I use google dns. That apple ipsw comes down at max line speed, 25-28Mbps

You should have your own DNS server, what is the IP for it ? as in 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1

Yeah we do, and they get issued automatically, Primary is 154.0.1.1 Secondary 154.0.1.10

PBCool After the fix the other night things seemed fine for a few days. Last night things got weird again.

For those in Cape Town, what's twitch streaming like? It seems to be the one thing each isp has a huge variance in.

Like watching a stream, or sending a stream?
For watching, when I watch its fine. For sending, you can use twitch.cisp.co.za which fixed quite few peoples issues.
