Do love my pfSense though, always so seamless (except when I wonder why the hell Youtube is buffering).

How do you enable this view of the gateway groups?

Hi

Its slowwwww again in Wilgeheuwel. Same as last night around this time

Hi. I am also one of the unlucky ones on Openserve's network that have been struggling with terrible latency for most of this month.
PBCool, is the JHB change you talked about meant to solve the issues from Pretoria as well?

My latency in League of Legends is still the same - unplayable. Terribly unstable - constantly cycling between 189 and 360 ms.

Here are some WinMTR results:
LoL 104.160.141.3: https://paste.ee/p/YL5Zc#OIHXR4VTs5ECn7tJb7Ea2EINrAm5uS8L
LoL 185.40.65.1: https://paste.ee/p/Y2twg#zapUrL2afQchHmdVGosLC2KyNdLNbQzv
LoL 162.249.72.1: https://paste.ee/p/3R6Jr#UnOQlbZ8aZDQNkCF1xXQKEzTIf1TTC8S

Thanks I'll have a look from the upstream side are these for two different games?

PBCool, yesterday didn't turn out as planned.

In any case, I tested just now. Ping still varies between 190-ish and 360-ish, cycling constantly.

The three LoL servers are all for League of Legends. I found the first IP while Googling for a LoL server to ping test. As for the second two - I don't know exactly what the difference between those and the first one is - those two are two that Riot's support staff asked me to ping. Here is a transcript of their support where they said the issue is not with them. You can get the some of the files I mention from my support ticket #COOL-20180607-110465.

So, herewith some updated tests, for what it's worth:
LoL 104.160.141.3: from WinMTR, directly from router.
LoL 185.40.65.1
LoL 162.249.72.1
Some bonus ones to other EU servers (that I just Googled). I don't play these games so I can't comment on in-game latency.

It's worth noting that when playing using another ISP but on the same PC, I don't experience this unstable latency.

So the majority of the issues seem lol related, as the latencies from the other games are fine. I have a ticket open with upstream and have requested peering with riot games directly. So will have feedback for you asap.

Thanks. Will keep an eye out.
I play LoL almost exclusively, so if it stays like this I'll have to consider other options unfortunately.

No of course, I requested peering on Tuesday and haven't heard anything. Can mess with the routing to work around it possibly.

Sounds like that's a temporary fix but worth trying for in the meantime?

Anyone know what the current lead time is for new CI fibre sign-ups? Signed up for fibre (via Octotel) yesterday and haven't heard anything...

Packetloss and disconnects again tonight ^_^;; Any issues guys ?

Depends on the demand at the time, let me know if you don't hear anything tomorrow.
