Can you all confirm the areas affected for me, so far I have Little falls, Helderkruin and Wilgeheuwel.

If Little Falls is affected, then so is Strubens Valley. We basically overlap. I just don't have anyone from that side in our fibre whatsapp group.

Some good news from my side. OpenServe 100/50 in Durban (via JHB).

This week has been much better, decent latency and full throughput! Thank you @PBCool for helping to push the carrier to resolve this!

Cool Ideas is a joke

I bought a 200/200 service. It's fluctuates between bad and terrible at times, Yesterday I got no more than 20 down.
I have never got more than 20 up ever. Messaged the joke of a support channel. The agent asked me to send him the model of the router I was just issued. WTF.... Capture.PNG 0 Reply on further complaints.........................

Is there a way to view daily/monthly usage stats for my CSP fibre service? 20/2Mbps service.

PBCool - so having read most of these comment (93.72%) I am unsure to what extend the ISP is to blame and to what extend the Fibre Provider is to blame for "degraded" service.

From what I understand the provider's network needs to get you to a POP (the where the ISP gives you "Internet breakout" as best as they can to their preferred Internet Exchange). The ISP can provide some preferential routing once you are on "their" network, but up to there you are basically in the hands of the Fibre provider (Vuma, Openserve, Metro, etc)?

Yeah they problem is 100% with vumatel, other people i know on vumatel on another isp has the same issues

I wonder why vumatel is dragging their feet on this? Usually when this happens there is a fibre break somewhere and they fix it within a day or so.. On this issue their turn around time is almost as bad as telkom.
