My internet is driving me crazy.

Works then stops then works.

Browsing is crap!

I wonder if its a MFN issue or CISP issue.

We have no issues currently have you logged it?

We have logged it with MFN on your behalf.

You aren't restarting your router at all? Looking at your sessions it's been up for 2hrs, was 4hrs before that and 7hrs before that. And you are testing with a cabled device right?

Looks like we are down again Cool Ideas on Vumatel Boksburg.

Same issue for me. Just logged. Ticket and then it came back up. Been seeing quite a number of pings dropping as well from wired devices.

Same issue on my side with dropped connections. Dropped connection last about 5 minutes before its working again. Im on MFN.

My only gripe with CISP is their domain management is terrible, we need better flexibility in terms of being able to add our own records. Lodging a ticket with support then only getting a response two days later is not ideal.

Edit: FYI my domain is still dead.

Why dont you have your DNS on Cloudflare?
Its fine to register the domain through the ISP, but I would have my domain pointed to Cloudflare's DNS and manage the DNS there. They also have an API, so you can even update it programatically. My home dynamic DNS is through Cloudflare too.

Do you have a ticket number for me? With the outages experienced from TTConnect this has created a backlog. We are also restructuring the hosting division.

That is what I am doing, but CISP did not even register the SOA record, so I can't even allocate it to cloudflare.

Yes I already PM'd you the ticket number last week.

Question regarding the VOIP service - if I had my geographical service (the telkom land line number 021xxxxx) ported to Cool Ideas, what would someone be paying to phone *to* that number? Does it still pretend it is a land line in Cape Town, or is it now a different class of number?
