hell of a coincidence

Other folks in my complex run SADV/Rocketnet and haven't noticed any downtime.

Im gonna see if i can get a test account somewhere and run that for a few days. Online gaming at this point is a nightmare for me with SADV/CISP.

i can't really complain about CISP, smooth sailing 99.8% of the time on MTN here. I'm not a gamer though so I can't comment on that.

Let me know if the drops continue, you unfortunately just can't switch to a test account on the SADV network.

2 months now on my Frogfoot / CISP 100Mbps package and still happy as day 1. I've had zero downtime and consistent speeds, no buffering or anything. Super happy with my choice in ISP!

MFN seems to be consistently dropping sessions, Vumatel had reported issues. And no major reports from MTN customers. So yes unrelated I assure you. They all plug into our network at seperate logical unrelated segments.

Any idea if they are looking into fixing this issue?

Im assuming 160ms would be Cape Town?
Yeah 163 ms to Cape Town from Miami, I see the 60ms quoted is from Fortaleza to Angola, so I would suspect around 95ms to Fortaleza from Cape Town.

So cumulatively ~183ms to Miami from Johannesburg and 115ms to Fortaleza.
