...Try run a speedtest on your phone to this server?
interesting, out of curiosity I tested this morning, on Windows the upload was about 15mbps, on my phone was 90mbps to that server..
hey guys
I'm moving house this weekend and there's already a CPE box installed - is there any way to accelerate the process?
I need to be able to work from home, and also have a very important esports race happening next week.
what can I do to make sure I'm sorted?
tia
this I would also like to know i have the same issues with intermittend packet on a 40/20 lineDidnt someone post a fix or some program a while back that would allow you to change the scaling etc ?

I’m in Tel Aviv though. Using a local sim. The windows result I posted earlier was via a remote log in on my htpc in Johannesburg.
So the server I’m trying to connect to is based in jhb and on a 200Mbps Fibre account, windows 10.
In Tel Aviv I’m using a Golan mobile sim and/or hotel WiFi.
This should have been resolved already as we have removed advertising IS in JHB for CPT ranges, I will investigate for you.@PBCool (I have a ticket for this btw - COOL-20180723-126376) - any idea when Telkom and Neotel will route via Cape Town from Cape Town instead of via Joburg?

MTR?Seem to be getting bursts of packet loss, i notice this in PUBG. My other mates playing with me wont experience it so its not their server for once. Last night it was happening a lot. Any feedback on this ?
Either there is a box installed already or you have applied for installation and have an install date, I doubt you would have this installed by the weekend if not.hey guys

Can you elaborate on your issue?this I would also like to know i have the same issues with intermittend packet on a 40/20 line
Yeah TCP window scaling, one OS does this (your mobile) your desktop does not, it's inherent in the TCP stack of the device.Ahh OK, what I meant was that you run the speed test on wifi from home using your phone instead of your PC.. Obviously not possible right now. My phone can pretty much max out my line on upload to Tel Aviv, my windows 10 PC cannot. I dunno man.
And if the device "serving" you content doesn't scale its TCP window with higher latencies you will be limited heavily on your throughput.I’m in Tel Aviv though. Using a local sim. The windows result I posted earlier was via a remote log in on my htpc in Johannesburg.

Have followed up with our local manager for you.@PBCool Just wondering what's happening with the transfer of my Fibre from current ISP to CIPS. My current ISP is due to kick me to the curb on the 30th on September (I'm hoping only on Monday), but I still don't have confirmation from CIPS about installation of my new router. Getting a bit worried that I'm going to have the natives (i.e. the kids) out for blood.
My tickt number is : COOL-20180808-132765
Hi There, I believe this is resolved after Vumatel replaced your ONT?Thanks, pleeeeeeeeeease try to resolve!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing to report in Roodekrans, Vumatel are currently having issues in Rivonia. Please log as normal.@PBCool what is happening with internet in Roodekrans, it's on and off almost every 5 minutes in the last 2 hours
Send an email to [email protected] if it is network or area related it will more than likely be resolved as Vumatel resolves. How do I log as normal, it's my first time to have issue like this? @PBCool
Also I presume this is happening on wireless and cabled devices?Send an email to [email protected] if it is network or area related it will more than likely be resolved as Vumatel resolves.
