Have you tried a different router as yet? Apologies if you have answered this already.

I havent.

I can't remove the SADV router (the wire goes directly into the router.

I'm still trying to get CISP to acknowledge that a problem exists - I havent tried asking for a test/new router.

Before SADV is willing to look into the matter they are waiting to here from CISP regarding the trouble shooting that has been done.

The SADV device is an ONT, have you tried updating the firmware on the router as yet?

If the session is dropping on multiple devices it's simply the layer2 that is not transmitting the polling packets. Realistically if it wasn't the layer2 all MFN connections would be behaving the same way.

Drop does not seem to be on my router or the ONT as the logs don't show the Nics going down.

So I assume the fibre is dropping on MFN then?

Does your logs show what goes down?

I am not 100% sure why it gives me a NAS error.

I know in the past it was the line issue not allowing my speed. Could it not be an account issue causeing this now for some reason?
Can I have a test account to use for a couple of days to monitor it?

Hey @PBCool

I replied to #COOL-20180921-148990 to get some additional feedback a week ago. Not a single follow up on this ticket in 7 days. I have tried getting your twitter account and email support to escalate it but have had no success.
Sure will check it out.

Hi @PBCool

Since you replied to this, I still have not had any feedback on the ticket. How is it possible to not have a single reply on tickets that are now 1 week and 2 weeks old respectively?

Hi that, is because it has been escalated to our GM and myself, there will be a response shortly.

SADV: 20302

Random drops still happening. SADV , Fourways.
Once on 5/10/2018 @ 11 PM & 7/10/2018 @ 8 PM. (These are only the ones that i know off)

SADV doesn't respond to tickets/Mails & CISP either close the ticket without a response or give some flaky reply like "the line has been stable for 3 days" - as If i should be happy that my line hasn't died in 72 hours.

Hi there PB.

SADV did some testing this morning. I hope this helps.

Not really, we are escalating with SADV, levels are the first and only thing their first tier support does and then closes the case.

MFN random disconnects of zero connectivity, router shows no IP, 5:25pm, yesterday at 7:40am, 11pm~. Restarting has no effect on connectivity.

Are you restarting both the ONT and your router?

Both - still takes a while to reconnecting depending sometimes its quick other times it roughly 5 minutes to connect again. This has actually been going on for few days now thought it was just a blip but several disconnects a day now.

Hey guys, anyone else in the Greenstone hill area with no internet? I've restarted everything several times and got no connectivity the ONT only has the power and Ethernet lights on but no broadband

Mine went down and came back up at pretty much the same time. I'm on Metrofibre.

This issue has been going on for at least a weak now and I have logged a ticket.
