RD doesn't work, throughput flat lines at 2mb, no matter what ISP I choose, no matter what package I choose, even using premium VPN service. They or RD won't work? The logic seems to point at RD not working![]()
Used to stream in Kodi and to download torrents. What is RD ?

Speedtest's are all normal, 10-12mb to London, latency normal, mtr normal, mtu settings tried: 1480, 1492, 1400.
If I swop over to Iphone hotspot Vodacom 3G the same links, throughput starts at 10mb, fills buffer, then peaks at 10-20mb while filling, ie: NORMAL behaviour.

Good to know, will still use them as I can then download my torrent at line speed. They definitely not for piracy or privacyTheir policy does nothing to protect users who pirate with their service.

On Vuma?I see that sort of behavior on Cool Ideas when it's working, which, to be fair, is 95% of the time.. I prefer to download and hoard though.
Any, try download a new latest release 1 day old torrent where there is a poor seed/peer ratio and see if you get linespeed.Which ISP are you using that doesn't allow to torrent at max line speed? There is no issue torrents & CISP as far as I know.
Torrents, for me, have always been hit and miss. CISP not particularly good for me and torrents. Actually fairly poor!Which ISP are you using that doesn't allow to torrent at max line speed? There is no issue torrents & CISP as far as I know.

You will give up fibre because of some unknown Torrent & Cloud -> HTTP downloader has bad download speed? Haha, you RD guys are funny. If I was Paul, I'd mark it as a non-issue/joke and rather focus on SACS & HE routing.
Some of the time, sure. But it's no secret that some ISP's frown upon the use of torrents and actively degrade or de-prioritize traffic directed at torrenting.Because the "problem" is with the torrent, not the ISP.

Now that I've run a network cable to my router - I see I get almost full speed locally, and 50% speed or less on various international servers?
