Beware the ISP that pays for the install and connection fee....most times they lock you in for 2 years or so.....look very carefully at the detail of the offer....
With Cool Ideas, you pay Vimatel the R1710 for install into your house and then no lock in....

R700 I think.What is cost please?
We don't do boosters or extenders because we don't believe in them. We contract out to cable companies etc in case you need additional APs and cables installed. Please tell us more, also what option do you have on wifi extenders/boosters to cover the entire house?

For those reasons and more, wireless being dynamic and limited in "airspace" and now people want to use a wireless device to broadcast more wireless. You connect to the repeater and generate traffic, the first/original AP starts to make wireless noise to feed the repeater which then makes more noise. Whereas if you had a cabled AP just one radio is making the same noise and performing better.By believe you mean that the conflicting routers repeating the same signal on the same channel space degrades performance too much due to collision, especially noticeable on higher speed connections.
Just in case anyone calls you out on that.![]()

Not really but we can generate an invoice tomorrow that you can pay online then collect?I picked up my router today, is it please possible to just go past tomorrow and pay for it ''in-store''?

Try force google dns server: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
coolideas assigned dns servers died completely for me a few hours back and was unable to access any international dns's until I changed my dns servers.
On good ol vumatel.
The DNS service is resolving international sites again tho, it just so happen to die on me for a couple of hours. Local content was still happily resolving at the time.
I am assuming 155.93.255.1 and 154.0.1.1 are DNS servers run by Cool Ideas?
