What the heck... That's very strange then! I was using this ftp.mirror.ac.za for ubuntu 16

I'm also with CISP/Vumatel. I basically waited an hour for Ubuntu to download. No idea why the download was that long

Chrome native download manager? Or 3rd party download manager?

For some users the difference is huge!!

Chrome native yeah... I think it must be that. Firefox seems quicker but maybe my connection was just bad this morning. Got stuff up and running now so its cool

Not really a cock up, they are making some technical changes. Should only affect you if you had a static IP.

Well I'm dead in the water. Not on cisp as you know but my cisp voip phone can't even connect

Yeah no internet means no VOIP , it just means that the ISP didn't plan correctly with IP ranges more than likely.

I was having some issues last night, with youtube and the like having to load and buffer.

Didn't affect my gameplay though

Cool, nothing we are aware of so possibly a temporary layer2 issue.

If it was only Youtube it could have been an issue with the Google CDN or the like.
