Also had no issues when switching over to an Axxess account last night, at least I know there's a backup when required. Will ride this out with CISP for a little while longer as I'm not keen on ISP hopping.

I feel you, I am also not in the mood to hop ISPs and potentially go through hell by waiting in the openserve holding pool for migration

Only OpenServe as far as I know.

OS only because as mentioned they run their Fibre Network on the existing DSL infrastructure. You won't be able to use a DSL account on any other fibre providers network

I bought 100GB from Afrihost and that worked for me, even their uncapped account worked before I cancelled with Afrihost. Also on the Afrihost portal you will see your B number when using their account

OK thanks - i guess the Free account ( 1GB ) is excluded from this - because I tried it the other night, but after entering the Afrihost creds on my router - i had no internet access

Yeah the free one won't work as when you request they tie it to your DSL number

Isn't the afrihost free 1gb accounts locked to a specific phone number? Thats what I recall when I signed up for it. You may need to ask them to lock it to your FTTH B* number. (if on openserve ftth)

Could be, but thats fine - I just wanted to use it the other night when i was testing the OS slow upload issue i had. Thanks for the tip though !

EDIT: Asked them and the 1GB free cannot be bound to the Fibre line at all - only the paid data packages

Not sure about that but just get the cheapest R29 account from axxess, it rolls over for 3 months.

Only OS, other providers it's a package deal data and line.

It indicates the speed that the fibre/lan ports are running at. Green = 100mb, Orange = 1000mb.
