The way it worked with me was everything got installed before the router arrived. It got installed and I had to wait for the 3 green lights like I was waiting for the grand prix to start. Then I asked CISP to email me my PPPOE details, plugged that into my router and I had internet. About a 4 days later CISP's router arrived, its been sitting on my shelf as a backup router ever since.

Its also k@k slow on Telkom LTE.. again I am picking up a pattern..
Starting to suspect this is an upstream provider or undersea cable provider problem

Not even a 1gig line will work for Looney hahahaha, a true legend indeed hahaha,

I think lot of ppl on this forum are gona become looneys over here

Well if you can’t stream whatever you want without buffering on a 200mb line let alone a 1gig line then what’s the bloody point.
 
Twitch is buffering yet again... It surely can't be just me? This is supposed to be a 100/100 line, and can't even manage a stable 6Mb/s to Twitch servers?!

Yeah but that Playback rate depends on the specific streamer one is watching and what bitrate they use to the servers at Source quality, so I wouldn't expect to see more than 6Mb/s but the problem is my line can't seem to maintain that sort of speed without intermittent loss of throughput causing buffering.

I don't know what you guys have done, but after a week of being unable to play games on OpenServe with terrible fluctuations the last few days the connection has been stellar. Best ping levels I have seen in a while.

Keep up the good work.

Same here no more latency issues. The faith has been restored. Good job @PBCool
 
Ja so now that the internet is working better - Loadshedding is back to kick us in the nuts - just cant win in this country

Any recommendations on a good UPS - im too lazy to search.

I am also looking for one , recommendations would be nice but also not to expsensive lol

I have a RCT 1100VA already, but that covers my Router / Switch / Shield & RaspBerry Pi. I need another for my ONT, and maybe my laptop.

I am looking for one just to power up my Router / ONT / AP and Tv Box, which one would you recommend?

Yeah - think you will be OK - not sure how long it will carry them for though.

I see it doesn't have a 3 prong plug though - only kettle style plugs. You will need something like this

So yes - maybe give the 750VA a try - cheap enough, and should last at least an hour and prob more i would of thought.
