I agree, here is the rub:
The people at CISP are no fools. Especially not
@TheRoDent that dude practically wrote parts of Linux on his own. Out of all the ISPs in SA, they are the best people to have. That means, they understand WTF goes on down to the TCP header and datagram level and probably more than I do. Try and get that kind of knowledge with any other ISP in SA, I challenge you. Most of them don't even know what MTU is and why getting it wrong can cause packet fragmentation. Give Vox Telecom a call and ask them what that is.. for a good laugh. And then there's OpenWeb telling people their modem needs to be attuned to their ADSL line... I don't suffer fools, and that's why in the end I chose Cool Ideas, because if there REALLY is a problem I can go straight to the top and get an honest answer.
