Oh good god.. so because your little embedded devices can't manage more than one download thread... its CISP's fault.

Go plug that stuff in at your friend's house and tell us then how it is.

This is a BULLSHIT argument, this is like blaming Mercedes because you get wet while driving with the window open in the rain.

I SHOULDNT BE HAVING SUCH CRAP SINGLE THREAD DOWNLOADS IN THE FIRST PLACE ON A 200mb LINE!!!

You certainly can when you’re paying R1500 per month for a 200/200 uncapped, unshaped, unthrottled connection.

This is what I pay for. Give me the link you trying to download and let's see.

No I didn’t ignore, users who have issues streaming RD land up having ISP’s that are shaping services like RD. Oh wait a minute, maybe CISP is shaping services like RD.

I can 100000% guarantee you CISP couldn't give 2shits about a service like RD that have a active userbase worldwide of under 1000 ;)

I torrent all the time and I max out my torrents on quality torrents at 25MB/s on my 200/200 package.

So RD might have crappy hosts that relay single seed torrents to stream from ie. horrible quality seeds that do not have reliable bandwidth at all. It is no different from accessing low quality torrents with either just one seed or low number of seeds with poor upload performance.

Argh kak man... CISP are shaping f0kkol.. Trust me bro.. if they were I'd be noticing it.

Yup.. currently maxing out my connection with anime torrents..
Also what can we expect CISP to do about this. F0kkol.. how do you make a badly seeded torrent seed more? How long is a piece of string?

So the device cannot download faster than 1Mbit/sec... well blow me sideways, what a revelation. Let me guess, the firmware is probably the limiting factor.

1 thread vs 20 thread

Are you retarded or something? Look at the difference between single vs multi threaded. That is NOT normal. The device has NOTHING to do with this. I have both a Nvidia Shield (regarded as the BEST streaming device one can get) and a Xiaomi Mi Box. Don't go blaming the device.

Sweet jesus, this is about as much as I can take... there... Silence. Ignoring him now.
Look folks I am only trying to help but there's no pleasing people. The issue with that particular user is in his own home, his own setup, and his own equipment. Its not the ISP, and I am sick of his tirade.

You really are something special aren't you. There is NOTHING wrong with my setup or equipment. The proof is in the pudding. Single vs Multi thread. I am not wasting my time on you any further either because you are absolutely clueless.

Downloading it in opera single threaded at 15MB/s on my 200/200

Tested it on remote host running on 10Gbit connection and getting 9MB/s

I am actually getting slower speed to that host from one of my dedicated 10Gbit hosts in the US so if that doesn't answer the fact that these rdeb hosts are all total trash then I can't help you further.

TLDR; RD is limiting the sending speed per thread and not the other way around. Its 100% RD issue and thats why your multi threaded test is convincing you that its a CISP issue but guess what remote hosts can also limit their per thread upload speed champ.

Thank you John, you sir, win the internet for tonight!
