Hey, @PBCool,

Any way we can get monthly usage stats? Just for bragging rights... :D

Seriously, though, while I wait for my ADSL to be cancelled, I have load balanced it with my ADSL at a ratio of 5:1, getting a full 24Mbps on some downloads.

Just curious to see a final ratio.

Also. I was told the router i collected would be pre configured
I assumed that meant plug and play. Not the case. Didnt receive any guidance nor credentials until i called cool ideas for what feels like the 100th time in 3 days. So please dont create a false expectation like that
The routers are supposed to be pre-configured with details. We send out all of them like this. On your original application did you select collection or courier? As this can create some additional steps in the setup process. It's not a false expectation at all.

The above is useless unfortunately anyway until the line is configured and handed over from fibrehoods which has been the major holdup, so apologies that part has taken so long.

Nothing we track really, you can monitor this from your end point device though.

Um yeah that is what your PM to me said. It would be pre-configured. I can happily paste the message for reference. I was told I can collect it, and it would be pre-configured

I will have it pre-configured for you, our office closes at 5 for collections.

Yeap it should be, we have processes in place for the normal application route.

Will you confirm if you collected it on Saturday? Or during the week?

If you opt to change it by collecting I can do my best to make sure this happens but it's a unique request and so these things can fall through the cracks. Again I apologise.

No further progress as yet, we are assisting them in narrowing down their issues.

Hi PBCool, any update on the TTConnect issues in the Dunvegan area? I see that there was new cable being laid in the area - was this to replace existing cable or new infrastructure.

Not as yet, they have contracted a CCIE to assist I believe. No idea on the infrastructure plans on their side.

Morning all.

2 things: Are there line problems in the ridgeworth Bellville area on Vuma, as I'm only getting half my download speed wired(100/10 line)

Then, my Archer C2 router still has a disappearing 5Hz wifi signal, and that after I added the settings as per TP Link support line. Runs well, then it just goes away, have to reboot to get it back. What to do?

I have the same issue, edge of Bellville/Durbanville.

I informed PBCool, its definitely not my line but vumatel area or coolideas issue and trying to get an answer to this.

Can both of you go to speedtest.net html5 client and change server and type london and select the first one you get.

Do you also get under 10Mbit, to be precise around 4Mbit ?

I am asking mainly cause this one international test maxed out 100/10 connection at 102Mbit/s any time I test during the day since getting vumatel/coolideas activated so curious if we see same results there.

EDIT: Same results on Vredekloof vumatel with coolideas point, just testing that location. Hoping its coolideas issue but apparently its not so if its vumatel issue we might be sh#t out of luck for a while, sigh.

Looks like PBCool sorted it out quickly, all back to normal for me.

Excellent having such a proactive coolideas rep on this forum. :)

I got 119.99mbps down and 28.66mbps up now, this is on the 200/200 package. Speedtest isn't really reliable for overseas tests, especially the beta one.

I dont know about 200Mbit package, but my 100/10 results are back to where they were just before PBCool restarted vumatel interface.

Just about every speedtest returning 102/11 for me now.

edit: Friend in my area on 200/200 is returning flat 200/185 to london test, I think atleast up to 200/200 the tests seems fairly reliable for basic testing needs.
