Good afternoon
I have had no feedback regarding this ticket and the iperf results that I uploaded last week.Upload speed is still exactly at 2.5 when it should be 25 mbps. Any news regarding this @PBCool?
 
Unusually high latency to EU today ... ~20ms higher with occasional packet loss and ping spikes ? Anything going on ?

I'm still seeing high 4th hop latency going to see if vpn fixes it.

@PBCool, still very stable here. Loving the speed/performance. So we have irrefutable proof the AC750 + DASAN causes issues. Now I know the people at TP-LINK are quite amenable to doing fixes in firmware, maybe we should approach them? I say this because it would be important to me to have the AC750 as a backup should the Mikrotik die/get hacked

Vuma Aerial, nah I’m keeping the ASUS, I have no issues on my line except RD (we’ve been down this road too many times lol). International is not always great but that’s either CISP or Vuma. Single thread performance also not great.

@PBCool - so I've just tried another Usenet provider - no matter which set of servers I pick (EU / US) traffic is being routed over the Angola cable and I cannot achieve line speed on NNTP.

Why is all traffic going over this cable now, and how do I go about being able to max out my line again?

I see the increased latency but hey, no worries, I am just enjoying the speed, busy downloading a really eagerly anticpated anime to watch.

Try tweaknews. They one of the very few usenet providers not reselling highwinds which is routing over Angola.
