Thats odd I get 301ms on that test, no idea what remote server that is actually testing to it or how accurate it is or if it is even in brazil but on here for instance I can see 131ms to sao paulo server which is pretty accurate since I get 135-140ms ingame.

The use of SACS routing is still quite limited atm, theres a lot of servers that will still route via eu.

AWS does some strange things with the routing to brazil. More often than not you can join a server a couple times and it will use the old route via eu, then sometimes it will use the correct routing. That happens on fortnite but im sure it also happens on pubg.

Yeap as mentioned previously until the new DC in Fortaleza is complete and our kit is deployed we are quite limited with regards to routing decisions. So for now it's a case by case basis, so would need the example IPs then we log with Angola cables etc. Also because we directly peer at LINX this actually makes this kind of thing even more different from a BGP perspective.
 
All still going well on my CISP 50/50 on MTN in CPT.
Hat tip to CISP, two or three hiccups in my time with them, which were admittedly quite annoying but for the most part - smooth sailing.

Agreed, still feel like a twat for carrying on at them like I did
