Ok so I'm still man down, will hopefully be back at it tomorrow. We are changing the Frogfoot NNI today. Re Octotel can you call please pm me your ticket numbers so I can pickup your accounts, with the subject Octotel.

Great news about the nni. Hopefully it does the trick.

Thank you for letting us know even while being down.

I just thought I'd bring this to light.

My support ticket with CISP has been answered and I've been told by the support agent that "Our director is building a case with Octotel" I'm assuming that mean that Paul is now on the case.

I implore anyone in this thread thats having issues with Octotel open a CISP support ticket about it and then do as PBcool has asked. PM him the support ticket number with the subject line "Octotel." So we can hopefully get some resolution.

I'm going to tag the people I remember complaining about Octotel to make sure they see this:

@ArtyLoop @joeline @DrJohnZoidberg @xrapidx

Got the same response. So obviously the generic response now.

I've asked for a timeline.

Three months on fibre and regretting the move from ADSL.

Well let's put it this way... its not like everyone can get FTTH yet... so if they don't do something about it before long, they're going to lose business and its going to hurt.

Well my next step is to email Octotel with the above response for comment - and if I get none - hit their facebook page.

I am in the same boat... perfect speed to local sites 24/7/365 but poor international performance during Netflix hours.

.

Netflix is local, so this points to local congestion not international capacity issues.....

Netflix is unaffected- by "Netflix hours" I meant the typical 6-10pm congestion zone. Its a term we used when I was still on ADSL

I received a reply to my ticket this morning that they're forwarding the info through to their seniors, so let's see if anything comes of it.

Just to illustrate that this issue is happening every night now since Friday:

A few little blips the previous week but nothing like it is now (specifically focusing on packet loss here):

To be 100% honest with you I actually don't give a monkey's who is to blame or even what the issue is. I just want it fixed.

As long as you've PM'd pbcool about it too.

And another response, they have no eta in getting this resolved - so I guess we're expected to pay and be happy until they decide to do something, which considering their response to the actual issue - doesn't seem to be high priority.

I'll give it another week before moving on.

I've now also posted on Octotel's facebook page - I see they don't respond to feedback. I suggest everyone do the same - if it is contention - warning other potential customers can only be beneficial.

So I am **** outta luck because I have a Mikrotik.
Unless you buy hardware that can run it infront of your mikrotik, you will need to find another way to build a similar type of graph. I am not 100% sure what pfsense is doing/testing when creating that graph. I am sure its possible to build it on a PC that sits behind the Mikrotik, but I would need to know how and what it is testing.
